REQUIRED ITEMS for ALL BAND & GUARD MEMBERS

NOTICE: Upperclassmen please make sure you have everything for inspection at Band Camp!

4th of July T-Shirts for Parade participants ONLY

The following are required for BAND Uniform Inspection:

Black Shorts & Shirt (BLACKS)
Water Jug
Towel
Black Gloves – 2 pairs – Brass and Woodwind only, will be sized during camp
***Marching Shoes – will be sized during camp (New shoes for all band & CG members)***

Student MUST acquire these items.

□ Men’s Black Knee High Dress Socks – NO insignia of any kind
□ Lyre – all Band students except flutes, trombones, tubas, and percussion
□ Flip Folder and 10 Pages for Flip Folder – all Band students except Trombones Tubas, French Horns, Euphoniums and Percussion. 

Tote Bag – optional for Band students. It will hold everything needed for contests and
overnight travel with the Band and is personalized.

The following are required for GUARD Uniform Inspection:

Black Shorts & Shirt (BLACKS)
Water Jug
Towel
Wind Suit (Jacket & Pants)
Official Mighty Mustang Band Tote Bag

Rain Poncho – one time fee for Freshmen/New students only. These ponchos stay with band equipment and are distributed as needed.

4th of July T-Shirts (Parade participants)
Marchers in the annual 4th of July parade are REQUIRED to wear the Mighty Mustang Band Fourth of July T-shirt. The shirts design has not changed from years past, so if you already have one or can acquire one from a prior band member, you do not need to order one.

Black Shorts & Shirt (BLACKS) – Delivery will be in August.
Every FHS band/Color Guard student is REQUIRED to purchase ONE set of the official Mighty Mustang Band black shorts and shirt. Uniform inspection before games/contests includes these items. Many students have two sets, this allows them to wear a set Friday night for the game and then one set Saturday morning for contest without having to wash and dry a set overnight. You may order as many shirts/shorts as you wish, as long as you have ordered one complete set.
Shirts and shorts come in adult sizes and do not shrink. The shirt is a poly/cotton blend and the shorts are a mesh ‘dazzle’ type basketball short. Display samples will be available at the Junior High and FHS band halls for a size check before ordering. Please do not order too small. There will be no guarantee of exchanging sizes after delivery in August.
