GIFT CARDS FOR THE HOLIDAYS FROM SCRIP
Posted by: | CommentsDon’t forget to support the band by ordering your gift cards through the band! Please take time to go to glscrip.com, and click on the Retailer List located just above the orange box. This gives you a list of all available retailers that you can purchase a card for, and the percentage of rebate they will give the band. You pay for the exact amount of the card, and it will be worth that same amount. You pay no convenience fees.
POINSETTIA PICK UP INFORMATION
Posted by: | CommentsPlease mark your calenders to come to the small band hall at the high school on Friday, December 4 from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. to pick up the plants that you ordered. If you cannot pick up your plants on that day, you need to arrange for someone to pick up your plants for you. All the plants must be picked up on December 4. (If there is a playoff game on December 4, we will reschedule the pickup day.)
To pick up your order, you will drive to the junior parking lot and form a line behind the annex building, just like we did this year when we dropped the kids off for morning practice. Please stay in your car and a band student will come out to get your name. Then the students will gather the plants you ordered and load them into your car.
On December 4, I will need 6 parents and 20-30 students to help gather the orders and load them into the cars. You can help from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., or from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. For every student who signs up and shows up to help, I will provide a letter confirming that they helped with this project. The students can use the letter for community service credit for their class (ex: World Geography — Mr. Borin), community service hours for confirmation, for Interact points, or for service hours for the National Honor Society. I will also provide snacks and drinks for all the helpers. To sign up to help, please call Tammy Zurawski at (281)331-1581.
