2013 New York City Spring Trip

Three things are required from you to register for the trip by Friday, May 18, 2012.
1. Signed Permission Form and Optional Trip Insurance Form/Payment if accepting
You must accept or decline the trip insurance!

It is car wash time again!
With the announcement of a spring trip to New York in 2013, it has been decided to have 5 car washes this summer to allow for more possibilities to earn money. For this fundraiser, the students receive 75% and the band gets the remaining 25% of the proceeds. The total at the end of all 5 car washes will be split amongst those that worked.
The sign up sheets will be posted this week in the High School Band Hall. Your student will need to sign up at the High School and can add your name as well. We also need at least 2 parent volunteers per shift. There are three shifts for each day (9 am to 11 am, 11 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 3 pm). Please arrive 15 minutes early to your shift. The sign ups are first come, first serve with waiting lists. The dates of the car washes are below.
The student is allowed to sign up for one shift per day. If someone does not show up for a shift, a student is able to work more than one shift if they are needed.

May 19th June 9th July 7th August 11th September 15th

CHILI TUESDAYS
The Chili’s restaurant on Nasa Road One and I 45 will donate 10% of Tuesday receipts for band members and friends dining in or picking up ‘to go’ orders! Simply visit the restaurant or place an order to-go on any Tuesday. On your way out, place your receipt in the jar marked ‘FHS Band’ by the hostess stand or the ‘to go’ register and Chili’s will donate 10% of your total to the band. What a tasty way to help the band!! Tell your friends and family to support the band on Tuesdays by visiting the Chili’s on Nasa Road One and I-45.
SCRIP
What is SCRIP? Also known as Gift Cards Galore, SCRIP is our name for an MBBC scrip fundraising program. Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for our organization. They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store.
